NOVA 1023 (Orange Piel de Sapo Melon)

Hybrid Piel de Sapo Melon 

Spanish style melon. It is sometimes also called a Santa Claus melon, or a toad-skin melon. 

Exclusive novelty in the Spanish melon segment with orange flesh due to high beta-carotene content. 

It produces oval shaped fruits with an average weight of 2.5-3.0 kg.  

The fruits have medium soft and longitudinal cracks and provide an excellent organoleptic quality.  

This variety stands out for the uniformity of weights and shapes independently of the area and time of cultivation.  

The plant has a good behavior against powdery mildew attacks.
